Professional attestation of personal and company Power of Attorney documents for UAE legal and business use — notarisation, MOFA endorsement, Arabic translation and full delivery, handled end-to-end.
A Power of Attorney (POA) is a written legal statement that authorises one person to represent or act on another person's behalf for personal or business reasons. For a POA to be legally recognised and enforceable in the UAE, it must be properly attested by the concerned authorities.
There are two main types: a Personal Power of Attorney and a Company Power of Attorney. Tafsir Attestation assists clients in obtaining POA attestation from across the globe — reviewing your document first and guiding you through the most efficient process to avoid unnecessary steps.
We handle attestation for both personal and corporate power of attorney documents from any country.
Issued by an individual authorising another person to act on their behalf for personal matters such as property transactions, banking, legal proceedings or managing personal affairs in the UAE while the principal is abroad or otherwise unavailable.
Issued by a business entity authorising a designated representative to act on behalf of the company for corporate matters including signing contracts, managing accounts, representing the company in government and legal dealings in the UAE.
Only a Power of Attorney attested from MOFA UAE will be accepted by Dubai Court and other UAE courts if the POA was executed outside the UAE.
An attested POA is required to buy, sell or manage real estate in the UAE on behalf of the property owner who is unable to be present in person.
For legal authorisation, business representation, signing contracts and managing corporate affairs on behalf of an individual or company in the UAE.

The Power of Attorney must be duly signed before a Notary Public or Gazette Officer in the home country to be considered a valid legal document.
The notarised POA is authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or Home Department / State Department) in the country of origin.
The document is certified by the UAE Embassy or Consulate in the home country, confirming its validity for use in the UAE.
Upon arrival in the UAE, the POA is stamped by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs for official legal recognition across all UAE authorities.
The POA is translated into Arabic by a UAE Ministry of Justice authorised translator, then stamped by the Ministry of Justice to certify the translation.
A Power of Attorney has a defined validity period as set out in the content of the document itself. Once this duration expires, the POA no longer holds any legal value and cannot be used for any official purpose.
Before we submit your Power of Attorney for attestation, our team will carefully review the validity period to ensure the document is within its active term — preventing rejection and unnecessary delays.
A Power of Attorney provides another person with the authority to act on your behalf and deal with your affairs when you are physically or otherwise unable to do so yourself.
Documentation and legal authorisation through an attested POA is required for both personal and business purposes in the UAE. Only a POA attested from MOFA UAE will be accepted by Dubai Court for any POA executed outside the UAE.
